Beltrami County Authorities Investigating Discovery Of Human Bones

Authorities in Beltrami County are investigating the discovery of what appear to be human bones.

Dispatchers received a call from a utility crew working in that area of northern Minnesota last week.  The bones were found in Brook Lake Township.

A forensic examination will determine if they are human bones, what the cause of death was – and will hopefully result in identification.

The bones were found last Tuesday at about 12:40 p-m.
