(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota volunteers with the American Red Cross are helping with aid in areas in Louisiana impacted by Hurricane Ida.
Red Cross spokeswoman Sue Thesenga says they have 23 people deployed to region and hundreds more are traveling there to help.
She says they’re focused on providing safe shelter, meals and comfort for those people in need.
