It’s another “gut punch” for Minnesota restaurants still trying to rebound from the pandemic.
Some are finding they can’t get food to sell. Illinois-based U-S Foods has notified its customers it “needs to take a pause.”
The company says its Minneapolis distribution center is dealing with staffing challenges.
U-S Foods says it expects the situation to be temporary and it “understands the immediate service disruptions are frustrating.”
U-S Foods hasn’t said how many clients are affected by the pause in service or how long it could last.
