The Kids and Parents Expo presented by Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Institute is happening at the Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA on Saturday, October 16th from 10am-2pm.
Stephanie Theisen, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Leighton Broadcasting, has played a major role in bringing the Parents and Kids Expo to Fergus Falls. She said, “The Kids and Parents expo is all about connecting! Connecting families to one another through a day of fun activities. Connecting community to businesses in the area that rely on local commerce to thrive. The businesses that are supporting the Kids and Parents Expo want the Fergus Falls community to be a place that families can live, work and play.”
Theisen added, “Parents can expect their children to have fun with pre-planned Halloween activities for them to enjoy and take home, as well as trick or treating hour with candy and treats.”
Trick or treating will take place from 1pm-2pm (or until the treats are gone).
The other activities that will be happening include creepy and fun Halloween crafting, pumpkin painting and more.
Tickets are only $5 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. They will be available at the door on the day of the event.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume.
Sponsors of this event include OSPTI, Tysdal Chiropractic (providing Trick or Treat bags), Love of God Family Church (providing laser tag for kids to enjoy), OTC Recycling, Chahinkapa Zoo, Annabelle Lee Agency, Fergus Pet Camp, Pebble Lake Golf, Otter Tail Dental, Gate City Bank and Lakeland Mental Health.
