The City of Fergus Falls hosted a birthday party on Thursday for all Fergus Falls community members, which took place at the new riverfront pavilion in the new Spies Riverfront Park.
This free celebration kicked off on June 30th at 4pm and went until 8pm. It ran in conjunction with the Late ’Til 8 events going on in the downtown area.
The event really gave a lot of people their first opportunity to check out and tour the new riverfront pavilion, which will be open for the public to use starting on Sunday (July 3rd).
There was plenty to do and see throughout this community get together. MOTU performed on the mobile stage, the police and fire departments had vehicles on site for kids to tour, and there was plenty of food and drinks to enjoy too, with free ice cream to the first 500 people, as well as, several local food trucks and breweries in attendance.
