(Urbandale, IA) — The Iowa Poultry Association and Chicken and Egg Association of Minnesota have merged into one new organization now named the North Central Poultry Association (N-C-P-A), with headquarters in Urbandale, Iowa.
Kevin Stiles led the former Iowa association and is now the executive director of the new entity.
He says after “a couple of years of dating” the two boards elected to move forward with a merger, in part because there already was a lot of cross-state activity.
Stiles says the merger won’t change what’s been happening in Minnesota, and that the N-C-P-A “will be participating in the Minnesota State Fair” and have a presence at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
