Ashby Appreciation Days 2022

Ashby Appreciation Days returns this Thursday, July 14th and runs through Sunday, July 17th. Each day will feature a variety of activities for people of all ages to enjoy.

Thursday kicks off this local event. There will be free root beer floats at Viking Bank from 2p-4:30p, kids activity and craft booths from 6:30p-7:30p, the Movie in the Park (“Sing 2”) at 9pm and more.

Throughout the day on Friday, Habitat 500 Bike Riders will be coming though Ashby. Attendees are welcome to cheer on the riders, in addition to checking out a variety of other things like Ashby A’s vs. Urbank baseball at 7pm, “Honky Tonk Star Dust Cowboys” at Club 74 from 8p-midnight and the Movie in the Park (“Encanto”).

Saturday will be jammed packed with entertainment. In the morning, people are encouraged to take part in events like the Family 1km Fun Run (8a start) and 5K/10K (8:30a start), which are fundraisers for the Ashby Legacy Fund and the Annual Ashby A’s Golf Scramble at Tipsanah Mounds (8a Tee Off). Later on, attendees can enjoy craft, vendor and Farmer’s Market around the park (10a-3p), supper in the park (4:30p-5:30p), evening parade (6p) and SALapalooza Outdoor Music at the Legion with headliner GB Leighton and opening act Todd Hurst (6:30p).

Ashby Appreciation Days wraps up on Sunday. There will be a community worship in the Park at 10:30a, Lions Club Pancake Breakfast in the Park from 8a-1p and Ashby Living Center 10th Anniversary Celebration from 1p-3p.
