State officials are celebrating after the number of COVID-19 vaccines administered topped one-million doses. Governor Tim Walz called this a “milestone day.”
He says one-million-16-thousand-210 shows have been given as of this morning (Friday). More than 728-thousand Minnesotans have received their first dose and 286-thousand completed both shots.
The governor said, “we still need more vaccine from the federal government and we have a long road ahead, but we can truly see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
