Flekkefest in Elbow Lake

Flekkefest in Elbow Lake is this Friday (August 5^th) through Sunday (August 7^th).

The Scandinavian celebration will have food vendors, arts and crafts fair, rummage sales, live music, games, a parade and more.

Friday will feature events including gourmet root beer floats from 9a-4p, Quarters and More Dig at 10a, the Flekkefeast Food Fest from 5p-8p and the Street Dance with “Eighth Hour Band” at 9 pm.

Saturday the fun continues. Attendees can experience the 5K Run/Walk at 8a, Sheriff’s Department Meet and Greet from 11a-1p, and Fireman’s Street Dance from 8p-midnight and more. The Flekkefest parade will be at 5pm and fireworks will happen at dusk over Flekkefjord Lake.

Sunday closes out the 2022 edition of Flekkefest. People are welcome to attend a variety of events including the community worship at 10a, the EL Lions Fish Fy from 11a-1p, the big drawing for Flekkefest Button prizes at the Firehall at 12:30p.

People are encouraged to purchase a button for $7 for a chance to win prizes.
