Minnesota State Legislative District 9 and 9A ‘Meet The Candidates’ Forum

The public is invited to attend a ‘Meet The Candidate’ forum for Minnesota State Legislative District 9 and 9A on Thursday, October 6^th at the Fergus Falls Public Library.

This forum, which is being put on by the Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, will be geared towards business related issues that affect the area.

The candidates that have been invited to this forum are Nancy Jost (DFL) and Jeff Backer (R) who are running for House of Representative District 9A, as well as, Jordan Rasmusson (R) and Cornel Walker (DFL) who are running for Senate District 9.

Candidates will be presented by questions developed by the Chamber. This is not a debate-style event, but each candidate will get the same amount of time to respond to the questions. There will be no questions taken from the audience.  KBRF’s Dave Bishop, who is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, will serve as the moderator.

This free event will take place in the Jean Dahling room at the Fergus Falls Public Library beginning at 4:30p on October 6^th. The event will also be aired on Friday (October 7th) on News Talk 1250 KBRF, at KBRFRadio.com and through the Fergus Now App.
