Breckenridge Woman Crashes into AmericInn in Fergus Falls

On Monday, a 69 year-old woman from Breckenridge, crashed into the AmericInn in Fergus Falls.

According to the Fergus Falls Police Department, the woman crossed all lanes of traffic southbound on Lincoln Avenue and hit the Northside of the AmericInn (pool area).

The woman was taken to Lake Region Healthcare. There was a standard blood alcohol test taken at the hospital. The results will take a little bit of time to come back.

There were no other injuries reported.

According to hotel Management, the AmericInn is still open and there are no reservation issues. However, the pool is closed at this time. Management said that there have already been people out to assess the damage. There is no timetable for the pool’s reopening or estimate of total damage costs at this point.
