Leaf Pickup in Fergus Falls

On Wednesday, November 2^nd, there will be a city-wide leaf pickup in Fergus Falls.

The city is asking people who are participating in the pickup to have their leaves bagged and ready to go on the boulevard by 6am on the 2^nd, which is when the collection starts.

There is also the option of dropping off leaves and yard waste at the landfill. The regular hours at the landfill are 8a-5p Monday-Friday and 8a-12p on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.

Residents have an after-hours option as well. The hours are 4:30p-8p Monday-Friday, 11:30a-8p on Saturday, and 8a-8p on Sunday. People who are dropping off their own leaves are asked to empty the bags and containers. The city is also reminding anyone who does this that the gate closes on a timer and to allow time to exit prior to closing time.
