(Minneapolis, MN) — A man who pleaded guilty to killing a woman after plowing his SUV through a crowd of protestors last year will be sentenced today.
Nicholas Kraus is charged with second-degree unintentional murder and injuring two other victims.
He can face up to 21 years behind bars. Deona Knajdek was killed in June of 2021 when Kraus drove into the parked vehicle she was in.
The victim’s mother is scheduled to read a witness impact statement today in court.
