(Edina, MN) — The Minnesota Golf Association is reporting a five-point-four percent decline in rounds of golf at courses across the state in 2022.
M-G-A executive director Tom Ryan says the important thing to note is how much we were over and up the last two years since COVID.
Ryan says rounds were up 30 percent in 2020 and five percent overall in 2021.
He says the golf season got off to a slow start due to rain and cold temperatures in April and May, but rounds were up over last year in June, July, August and September.
