The Annual Bigwood Lecture, a tradition since 1992, this year features Gary Spies, long-time owner of Service Foods and one of Fergus Falls’ most dedicated supporters.
The community leader and local business owner shares wisdom on improving the world and aging gracefully
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 5th at 7:00 PM in Legacy Hall, M State, located at 1414 College Way in Fergus Falls.
Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the lecture commencing at 7:00 PM.
Gary Spies, a prominent figure in the Fergus Falls community, has devoted over 50 years to numerous local organizations, causes, and residents.
Known as one of the area’s most enthusiastic cheerleaders, Spies has praised Fergus Falls as,
“A wonderful place to live and raise kids.”
As he approaches his 81st birthday, Spies plans to share his insights on “Making the world a better place” and discuss his experiences with something he’s become more familiar with: growing older.
The Annual Bigwood Lecture is a free event open to the public, offering an opportunity for attendees to learn from a respected and accomplished member of the community.
