Chahinkapa Zoo Pushes Back Clean-Up due to Weather.

The Chahinkapa Zoo announced that the zoo’s clean-up and preparation for summer have been pushed back to April 29th due to weather conditions.

Despite the delay, the zoo’s opening day is set for May 6th,

The Chahinkapa Zoo is well-known for its specialization in animal care and training, as well as its focus on wildlife conservation, environmental education, and family recreation.

The zoo seeks to accomplish its mission by providing educational programs and interpretive information throughout the zoo grounds and Rodger Ehnstrom Nature Center, which enhances understanding and respect for wildlife.

In addition to conservation through education, the zoo is also dedicated to providing high-quality animal care and serving as a wildlife rehabilitation center.

The Chahinkapa Zoo also prides itself on developing a safe, natural, and healthy habitat for each species and providing visitors with a clean, green, and natural setting where they can view native North Dakota wildlife, animals from around the world, and selected endangered species.

The zoo also offers event hosting, camping, and field trips, as well as animal sponsorships and zoo memberships.

Visitors can expect a quality experience in a friendly atmosphere at reasonable prices

. The zoo was established in 1933, and the Chahinkapa Zoo Mission Statement was approved by the Chahinkapa Zoo Association on October 10, 2005.

The zoo’s will be open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
