Hawley, MN Prepares for Fun-Filled 22nd Annual Breakfast on the Farm and 63rd Rodeo Fest June 3rd

The town of Hawley, Minnesota prepares for the excitement as the 22nd annual “Breakfast on the Farm” event approaches, kicking off the 63rd Rodeo Fest on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Hosted by the Clay County Farm Bureau and taking place at Kasin Farms from 7 a.m. to noon, the event promises a delightful morning of delicious farm-fresh breakfast, kid’s activities, and much more.

The Hawley Lions will serve a country breakfast, including pancakes, sausage, and eggs, with dairy products sponsored by Riverview REW Company.

Jan Severson will provide easy listening country music throughout the morning.

A variety of children’s activities such as bounce houses, barrel train rides, corn box, farm bingo, and book readings will be available, ensuring fun for the entire family.

Visitors can register for a chance to win half a butcher hog, $400 in Beef Bucks, and soy-based products from Clay Wilkin Soybean Growers, including a set of Goodyear car tires and a pair of Skechers tennis shoes.

The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, sponsored by Farm Bureau and Hawley Lions, will begin at 9 a.m., with registration opening at 8:15 a.m.

As the Rodeo Fest continues throughout the week, attendees can enjoy events such as the Lil’ Riders Rodeo, Miss Hawley Pageant, Jackpot Team Roping, Sanford Health Fair, Concert for Kids with Gaelynn Lea, and much more.

The American Heroes PRCA Barnes Rodeo will take place on June 9 and 10, with advance ticket prices available until noon on June 9.
