The grand opening, slated for Monday, May 22, at Little Chief Outpost, 1603 Pebble Lake Rd, marks a new chapter in the gastronomic experience of the region.
Nestled within the welcoming confines of Little Chief Outpost, Outpost Smokehouse proudly charts its course away from the typical franchise restaurant model.
With a singular, tantalizing emphasis on smoked meats, its menu showcases an array of delectable choices, including smoked brisket, rib racks, smoked sausage, and smoked pulled pork.
Patrons will have the freedom to order meats by the pound, reflecting the broad variety of choices and combos on offer.
Through a harmonious blend of traditional techniques, proprietary recipes, and creative flavors, Outpost Smokehouse crafts each dish to offer a unique culinary journey, setting a new benchmark for local eateries.
The establishment complements its main course selection with an assortment of savory side dishes such as smokey ranch-style corn, cornbread, smokey baked beans, and cucumber salad, ensuring a balanced and gratifying meal for every patron.
The forthcoming BBQ restaurant will cater to varied dining preferences with options for dine-in, online ordering, and grab-n-go services.

Outpost Smokehouse, along with Little Chief, is currently hiring for several positions, including servers, dishwashers, cooks, and prep cooks.
Those aged 16 and above can apply online at littlechiefinc.com, with wages ranging between $13-18/hour, depending on experience, and opportunities for advancement.
Owned by Patrick and Jen Hofer, who purchased Little Chief and Big Chief Travel Plaza in late 2022, the Outpost Smokehouse is a culmination of their continuous efforts to enhance the local dining scene.
