A vibrant blend of arts, culture, entertainment, and culinary delight is set to mark the calendar as the 39th Annual Phelps Mill Festival invites enthusiasts and newcomers alike to a two-day event on the second full weekend of July(8th and 9th).
This year’s event takes place at Phelps Mill County Park, just north of Underwood, and promises a host of exciting new activities for all ages.
This eagerly anticipated festival provides a platform for local and regional artists to showcase their talents, and features a rich blend of children’s activities, live entertainment, gourmet food booths, and craft wine and beer tasting.
New to the event this year, we have the Color Me 5K/1K Family Fun Run on Sunday morning at 8 a.m., with early registration available online until June 20, 2023.
An exciting addition to the children’s program is the Turtle Races, coordinated by the Lakes Area Community Center, happening Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m.
The festival also introduces hands-on ceramics sessions run by Blayze Buseth and team from the Creation Shop of Fergus Falls.
The Kaddatz Gallery will host a Community Art Table printmaking activity, ensuring creativity thrives throughout the weekend.
