
Amid applause and admiration, the local Sertoma Club in Fergus Falls has bestowed the prestigious Service to Mankind Award upon Mick Siems, recognizing his exceptional contribution to the community as a tireless volunteer.
In addition to this, the club also celebrated the milestones of its committed members and bestowed its highest honor, the Sertoman of the Year Award, upon dedicated member Renee Lemke.
Born on June 16, 1964, Mick Siems has consistently proven himself to be a vital pillar of the Fergus Falls community.
From serving as Assistant Administrator at Pioneer Care to his current position as the Director at Mill Street Residence, Siems’ commitment to his community shines through his professional and personal life.
Throughout his career, he has actively engaged in various community organizations, including The United Way, the Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club, and the Parkinson’s Support Group, among others.
In honor of his unwavering dedication and service to the community, Siems has been awarded the Sertoma Club’s Service to Mankind Award, a well-deserved tribute to his invaluable contribution.
Siems’ extensive service and the positive impact he has made on Fergus Falls and its surrounding communities reflect the noble purpose of SERVICE TO MANKIND that the Sertoma Club upholds.
The Sertoma Club also used this opportunity to celebrate the dedication of its members with Milestone Certificates and a Tenure Award from Sertoma International.

Members recognized included Amber Huschka for five years of service, Randy Vangrud for a combined 13 years, Tindy Rund for 15 years, Joel Myhre for a combined 22 years, Pam Bice for 25 years, and Wally Stommes, who was celebrated for his impressive 40-year tenure.
Each member’s dedication and unwavering commitment to the Sertoma Club’s vision of serving those in need exemplify the motto, “Service to Mankind.”
In a stirring climax to the celebration, the club announced the Sertoman of the Year Award, the top recognition a club member can receive.
Chosen by a majority vote, Renee Lemke was honored for her outstanding and devoted service to the club and the community.
Lemke, who has been a member of the Fergus Falls Sertoma Club for a combined total of 26 years, has held several offices, including being president this year and successfully chairing the Fishing Derby.
Lemke, married to Kerry and mother to two grown children, Miranda and Taylor, has been a beacon of service in her community.
She balances her Sertoma duties with her work at Rohde Insurance Services and her love for crafting, including crocheting, knitting, and scrapbooking.
The Sertoma Club is privileged to recognize these individuals who have significantly contributed to the betterment of their community.
