(Moorhead, MN) — A Moorhead teenager was temporarily two thousand dollars richer after a big catch on the family fishing trip. Fourteen-year-old Connor Halsa hooked a wallet on Lake of the Woods containing $2,000.
The wallet included other items, like a business card with a phone number, which Halsa called and got in contact with the owner.
Iowa farmer Jim Denney was more than thankful, saying he didn’t even know he lost it until it came time to pay a resort bill. He offered Halsa a reward for finding his wallet, but Connor refused.
