(KNSI) – Minnesota is one of the least stressed states in the nation. That’s according to WalletHub, which looked at various metrics to see which Americans are the most stressed out.
Minnesota is the third least stressed state, only beaten by Utah and South Dakota.
On a scale of 1 to 50, with 1 being the most stressed, Minnesota ranks 50th for its share of adults getting enough sleep and 50th for its mean credit score. The state is 45th for the number of psychologists per capita, 47th for the percent of the population living in poverty and 46th for its divorce rate. These low rankings put Minnesota in its position as one of the least stressed states.
The top three most stressed states are Nevada, Louisiana and New Mexico. The report shows that Midwest and Great Plains states are often less stressed than those along the East Coast, the South, Appalachia and the West Coast.
Next month is Stress Awareness Month.
