In Wilkin County, a significant amount of cable,
measuring hundreds of feet in length, was stolen from a beet piler.
On the morning of September 18th, Monday, the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report regarding a theft incident at the Lyngass beet pile, situated to the south of Foxhome.
The individual making the report stated that both power cables connected to the piler had been stolen during the preceding weekend.
These power cables were approximately 200 feet in length each and weighed several hundred pounds.
The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office noted that the cables have distinctive,unique large plugs, and he has provided an image of a severed section of the cable.
