Lake Region Healthcare is hosting its annual Lake Region Run on Saturday June 1st, and they’re looking for volunteers.
The Lake Region Run is a fundraising marathon, with proceeds benefitting Lake Region Healthcare’s Cancer Care and Research Center.
LRHC has put on the event every year since 2007.
This year, there will be five races, the 10 mile, the 10 mile relay, the 5k, the 1 mile, and the virtual race.
At least 52 more volunteers are needed for the event.
Race day duties will be assigned the week before the race. The time frame for volunteers is from 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. but will vary depending on the volunteers’ location.
A drop-in informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 29th from 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. where volunteers will get more information about their specific location on race day.
