Norby Leads Charge as Arrows Secure Dramatic Victory

Senior post player Jake Norby emerged as the hero for the Arrows, igniting the comeback with a sensational performance, contributing 21 points, with 19 of them coming during the gripping second half and overtime period. Joining the fray, junior point guard Easton Nelson rallied with a 10-point effort, while Richie Johnson and others showcased their mettle, collectively propelling the team to victory.

In a display of sheer dominance, Abby John spearheaded the Barnesville Lady Trojans to a resounding 71-45 victory over the Crookston Pirates in the Section 8AA girls’ basketball playoffs. With a remarkable 30-point display, John propelled her team into the next round, setting up a showdown against East Grand Forks.

Warriors Upset Chargers in Playoff Thriller

In a captivating South Sub-Section 6A contest, the fifth-seeded Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors engineered a stunning upset, edging past the fourth-seeded Brandon-Evansville Chargers in a heart-stopping 66-64 showdown. Wolverines Suffer Heartbreak in Playoff Defeat

Wadena-Deer Creek’s playoff journey came to a bittersweet end as they succumbed to a 48-44 loss against Park Rapids Area. Despite a valiant effort, highlighted by Peyton Gravelle’s impressive performance, the Wolverines couldn’t maintain their halftime lead, concluding their season with a record of 15-12.

Cowgirls Stampede Past Panthers in Playoff Rout

Breckenridge Cowgirls stamped their authority with a commanding 79-46 victory over the Parkers Prairie Panthers in the Section 6A-South Subsection Quarterfinals.
