Evansville, MN (KXRA) – On Friday night, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a house fire in Evansville.
The property owner, Agnos Elliott, informed law enforcement that she had returned home to find a dishwasher was on fire and the fire was spreading in the kitchen.
A deputy who was nearby responded and found the house to be filled with smoke, but he was able to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher.
No injuries were reported from the blaze.
Officials say the fire caused moderate damage to the kitchen.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Evansville Fire Department.
