Pelican Rapids, MN – The identity of the man that was killed in a motorcycle accident on Father’s Day (June 16th) has been revealed.
At around 5:15 on Sunday evening, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash in Dunn Township, just northeast of Pelican Rapids.
According to officials, initial information reported that the adult operator, since identified as 21-year-old Wesley Lafromboise of West Fargo, had serious injuries.
Life saving measures were conducted at the scene, but were ultimately unsuccessful.
Lafromboise was wearing protective equipment, including helmet, jacket, and gloves and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Pelican Rapids Ambulance, Pelican Rapids Fire, and Life Link Air Ambulance.
