Detroit Lakes, MN – An omnibus court hearing for state Senator Nicole Mitchell of Woodbury is being pushed back to late August in Detroit Lakes.
The Becker County Court Administrator’s Office says it has been moved to August 30th after a request by the defense.
Mitchell is facing a first-burglary charge for an alleged break-in at her estranged stepmother’s Detroit Lakes home in April.
Several lawmakers and DFL leaders have called on Mitchell to step down, but the Woodbury Democrat says she has no plans to resign.
