2024 WE Fest Crimes and Arrests

Detroit Lakes, MN – Another year of WE Fest is over, and with it, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office has revealed the statistics of law enforcement’s involvement in incidents from the weekend.

In total, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 208 calls for service related to WE Fest, including 7 assaults, 15 disorderly conduct complaints, 2 reports of theft, and 1 sexual conduct complaint.

Among the calls for service, Becker County deputies served citations to 123 people, with 114 charged for minor consumption of alcohol, 5 charged with disorderly conduct, and 6 charged for fleeing on foot.

Deputies also arrested 16 people that were held in Becker County Jail, not including arrests made by the Minnesota State Patrol.
