Fergus Falls, MN – The Fergus Falls Over the River Festival is at risk of not continuing this season, according to the Festival’s Facebook Page.
For the past several years, a group of volunteers within the Downtown Riverfront Council has organized and executed the Over the River Festival for the community of Fergus Falls.
Through a series of life changes and personal decisions, the Downtown Council has disbanded and as a result, the leadership needed to oversee the planning of the free event is nonexistent.
The Festival is asking residents to volunteer as part of a planning committee for the event, “If you would like to see Over the River continue this season and future seasons, we need help!”
If you are interested in being a part of a planning committee or want more information, contact the City of Fergus Falls by September 3rd.
