Washington D.C. – Kamala Harris and Tim Walz took Minnesota with about 51 percent of the vote, but Donald Trump and JD Vance have won the presidency — neighboring Wisconsin putting them over the top in the Electoral College.
Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann says Trump not only won the electoral college but also the popular vote. He says it’s a pretty clear victory and sends a signal across the country that people are not necessarily very happy with how the Biden administration conducted business in the country and want change.
Minnesota Democratic Party Chairman Ken Martin says he’s proud they delivered Minnesota for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, adding, “No matter who holds the White House or Congress, the DFL congressional delegation will be a bulwark for our party’s creed that ‘we all do better when we all do better.”
