Vergas, MN – A man was life flighted from the scene of a crash in rural Vergas.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to an automated crash alert on the corner of 280th Avenue and County Road 4 at around 4:13 Friday afternoon (November 8th). According to officials, the vehicle appeared to have gone into the ditch and hit the approach.
The driver and sole occupant, 43-year-old Jesse Jensrud of Detroit Lakes, suffered serious injuries and was transported from the scene via air ambulance for treatment. Jensrud’s condition is unknown at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Vergas Fire and Rescue, Pelican Ambulance, and Pelican Pete’s Towing.
