Ryan Hamilton (OTCDF)
Dalton, MN – A man from Dalton has been arrested and accused of holding a woman against her will while in possession of a firearm.
According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department, a report was received via text message at around 7:21 Monday evening (December 2nd) saying that a man with a gun was holding a woman against her will in Dalton.
Otter Tail deputies and other law enforcement responded to the area. During the incident, law enforcement entered the residence, at which point the male, identified as 42-year-old Ryan Hamilton, was taken into custody without incident. The woman was not harmed during the incident.
Hamilton is being held at the Otter Tail County Detention Facility on charges of 2nd Degree Assault and Domestic Assault with a Firearm.
