Deer Creek, MN – One man was injured following a two-vehicle crash on the eastern side of Otter Tail County.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the accident at around 7:27 Saturday evening (December 14th). According to officials, a Ford Edge and a Chevrolet Pickup were travelling east on Highway 29 in Compton Township between Deer Creek and Wadena when they collided.
The driver of the Edge, 53-year-old Ben Nevin McCormick of Sebeka, was transported to Astera Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup, a 39-year-old woman from Deer Creek, and her 13-year-old passenger were uninjured.
The official report say the roads were snowy/icy at the time of the collision.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter TailĀ and Wadena County Sheriff’s Departments, Wadena Police Department, Astera Ambulance, and Premier Towing.
