West Fargo, ND – A Moorhead man is in the Cass County jail after leading police on a brief pursuit in West Fargo early Monday morning (January 20th).
West Fargo Police say officers saw a man passed out behind the wheel of a car parked at a gas station. When an officer tried to make contact with the driver, later identified as 42-year-old David Jacobsen, he drove off.
Police deployed stop sticks and Jacobsen drove over them. An officer used a pursuit intervention technique to stop the vehicle. Jacobsen was arrested for felony fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and multiple outstanding warrants. No one was hurt during the pursuit.
