Fergus Falls, MN – On Tuesday (January 21st), Otter Tail Power Company President Tim Rogelstad announced Kelsey Evavold as Director of Human Resources and Safety, effective February 3rd, 2025. In this role Evavold will be accountable for leading the company’s human resources and safety functions including compensation and benefits, labor relations, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and training. Evavold will succeed Pete Wasberg, who dedicated more than three decades of service to the organization.
“Kelsey has extensive experience prior to joining our company,” said Rogelstad. “She’s well prepared for this role and I’m looking forward to Kelsey joining our executive leadership team.”
Evavold is an experienced HR professional with expertise in talent strategy, organizational design, and employee relations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She previously held the of roles Director Human Resources at UnitedHealth Group and Radisson Hotel Group Americas, where she led initiatives in talent management, total rewards strategy, organizational design, and talent acquisition.
