(Little Falls, MN) — The former treasurer of a youth hockey association in Little Falls admits stealing more than 90-thousand dollars over a four-year period.
Kelly Beth Alonso-Heath has entered a guilty plea to one count of theft in Morrison County Court. Alonso-Heath wrote fraudulent checks totaling more than 86-thousand dollars to herself or cash that didn’t benefit the Little Falls Youth Hockey Association.
She made nearly six-thousand dollars in fraudulent electronic withdrawals to cover things like car payments and utility payments for herself. She will be sentenced next month.
