Wahpeton, ND (KFGO) – No one was hurt and nothing was damaged after a dryer fire at Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative north of Wahpeton Thursday night.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says sugar beets in the dryer overheated and began to smoke and smolder.
When deputies arrived around 9:20 p.m., the Dwight Fire Department was already on -scene and had the fire contained.
