Battle Lake, MN – Learn how to shoot a bow at Glendalough State Park as part of the Archery in the Parks program.

For thousands of years, archery has been a popular sport and important life skill. Beginners can learn this valuable skill from trained archery instructors in a safe, supervised setting.

The Archery in the Parks program will take place at the Molly Stark picnic shelter between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17th.

Archery in the Parks is part of a series of skill-building programs offered by the DNR’s Division of Parks and Trails. Other programs in the series introduce camping, rock climbing, paddling and fishing to beginners.
