Wahpeton, ND (KFGO) – State Rep. Cindy Schreiber-Beck of Wahpeton died over the weekend.
Schreiber-Beck was a Republican who represented District 25 where she was first elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2014. She was most recently re-elected in 2022.
Schreiber-Beck was a prominent member of the aviation community. She and her husband Gerry operated Tri-State Aviation in Wahpeton. Gerry died in 2007. Schreiber-Beck also served as executive director of the state Agriculture Aviation Association and was inducted into the North Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame this past March. She served on the state Aeronautics Commission from 1997 to 2022.
A cause for the 70-year-old’s death has not been released. While details for Schreiber-Beck’s funeral haven’t been announced, Governor Kelly Armstrong has directed all U.S. and North Dakota flags to be flown at half-staff from dawn to dusk on the day of her interment.
