Verndale, MN – One person was hurt after hitting a deer with their car in rural Verndale Friday night (June 6th).
State troopers say 22-year-old Joshua Crandall of Osage was in his pickup heading east on Highway 10 at about 9:30 p.m. when he struck a deer just outside of Aldrich, near mile marker 101.
Crandall was transported to Staples Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol is investigating.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Verndale Police and Fire Departments, and the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office.
