Fergus Falls, MN – As of last Friday (June 27th), drivers on Interstate 94 between Rothsay and Fergus Falls will encounter reduced speeds and one-lane traffic in each direction.
The eastbound lanes are closed, and traffic has been directed onto the westbound lanes while crews begin concrete resurfacing on eastbound I-94. Until November, there will be one-lane head-to-head traffic through the project area, from just west of County Road 11 near Rothsay to Highway 59 near Fergus Falls.
In addition, drivers heading south on Highway 59 will encounter a closure at the I-94 on-ramp. Highway 59 traffic heading to eastbound I-94 will be detoured to County Road 88 through the city of Fergus Falls.
