Barnesville, MN – Two people are injured following a crash on Highway 9, southwest of Barnesville in Wilkin County Sunday afternoon.
State troopers say an SUV driven by a 16-year-old female from Kindred was heading west on County Road 30 and a pickup driven by 33-year-old Justin Affield of Kent was heading south on Highway 9, when the two vehicles collided.
Both drivers received non-life-threatening injuries and the teen was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo for treatment. Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the accident.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office.
