
Fargo, ND – The Fargo Police Department has identified a suspect in a shooting that occurred in downtown Fargo early Sunday morning (August 3rd.)
Police say they are seeking the public’s help in locating Tyrque Jones, a 20-year-old Fargo resident, for a shooting incident on Broadway that killed 19-year-old Azeem Holmes, as well as leaving one in critical condition, and one with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were called to the scene at around 1:56 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
Another shooting was reported half an hour later at 16th Avenue South, where officers found 20-year-old Elijah Hughes killed. Police are actively investigating both incidents, and have identified them as separate shootings.
