Fergus Falls, MN – One lucky golfer won big at this year’s Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble.
During Thursday’s event (August 21), Lane Rogers on the Big Chief Team nailed a hole in one on Hole 15 at Pebble Lake Golf Course, winning $10,000 in cash from Capital City Construction and Remediation. Chamber President Lisa Workman says it is the first hole in one contest win in the 21-year history of the Golf Scramble, which is about 59,000 attempts.
American Federal Bank Team 2, comprised of Chad Landmann, Cameron Rittenour, Thomas Bosel, and Jason Drouilliard, won first place in the Golf Scramble. American Federal Bank Team 1 took second place, and Quality Toyota’s team won third in a 7-hole tie breaker.
The weather conditions made Thursday a perfect afternoon for golfing and playing the various games that businesses set up around the course.
