Moorhead, MN – Classes start today at Minnesota State Moorhead, and the university says it set a new record for first year enrollment.
There are 774 first-time domestic students this year. That’s up just over 31% from last year when first-time enrollment was 590. It’s the third consecutive semester of new student enrollment increases. Total enrollment is 4,282.
University leaders say Minnesota State Moorhead is the fastest-growing four-year public university in the Minnesota State system.
Also, beginning this fall, classes in the university’s Institute of Applied Artificial Intelligence begin, and recruiting begins for the Honors College, which is set to hold classes next fall.
