Fergus Falls, MN – A teenager has been hospitalized after falling from a bridge in Fergus Falls this morning (December 2).
At around 8 a.m., The Fergus Falls Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to Veteran Bridge on Tower Road for a 17-year-old male located on the shoreline of the Otter Tail River.
Police say the teen was experiencing cold weather exposure injuries as well as physical injuries as a result of a fall from the bridge. He was transported to Lake Region Healthcare for treatment.
Officers were able to speak with the individual and family members. Police say that at this time, there does not appear to be any criminal element to the incident.
