Fergus Falls, MN – A Fergus Falls man was arrested this weekend for breaking into an SUV.

Court documents say that on Saturday morning, Fergus Falls Police were called to an apartment complex for a report of a break-in. The victim said they had seen a black pickup parked near their vehicle around the time of the crime. They reported four pieces of equipment missing worth a total of $1,850: the vehicle’s aftermarket radio, a diesel tuning programmer, a rangefinder, and a Garmin GPS.

On Sunday, officers found a pickup matching the victim’s description occupied by 40-year-old Tony Maruna. After obtaining a search warrant, officers found the stolen equipment inside the pickup.

Maruna made his first court appearance Tuesday morning and has been charged with felony theft, receiving stolen property, and entering a motor vehicle without permission.
