Fergus Falls, MN – Representative Jeff Backer (R-Browns Valley) will be joining local Minnesota farmers, stakeholders, and commissioners at the Agriculture Summit on January 22, 2026.
The Ag Summit will be located at Jennen Farms: 14721 State Highway 210 in Fergus Falls. He will be joined by Agriculture Commissioner Thom Peterson, DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen, MPCA Commissioner Katrina Kessler, several legislators, local stakeholders, and livestock and crop farmers from Minnesota.
“This event will focus on strengthening Minnesota’s agriculture industry through direct engagement with those working in the field,” said Rep. Backer. “We will be joined by farmers and agriculture professionals who are actively involved in the industry, providing firsthand insights into current challenges and opportunities. This is a valuable chance to hear directly from stakeholders and discuss practical, bipartisan steps that we can take to support agriculture across Minnesota.”
Everyone involved in the agriculture industry is encouraged to attend.
