Fergus Falls, MN – A man was arrested for a domestic stabbing in Fergus Falls this weekend.
Fergus Falls Police say that officers were called to a residence on the 800 block of South Sheridan Street at around 11:20 p.m. Saturday for a reported stabbing. Officers located a 31-year-old man inside the home with significant puncture injuries. The victim was transported to Lake Region Hospital for medical treatment.
Officers also located a 22-year-old male on the scene, who was later arrested for attempted 2nd degree murder, 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, and domestic assault. Police say the suspect and victim are known to each other and live together. The investigation is ongoing.
The Fergus Falls Police Department was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, and Ringdahl Ambulance.
